FROM RIIF
An ops terminal that remembers the team, the spend, and the decision.
Reflex Ops runs on your machine for standup, operating rules, agent handoffs, records, and live testing. It signs you in with riif, logs what every call cost, and writes the record where the team can check it.

What Reflex Ops adds
Reflex Ops is built on opencode, an open-source terminal agent, and adds four things:
- Sign-in with riif. Device keys tie every turn to a person and their credit, instead of a pasted API key in a dotfile.
- A cost ledger. Every call is logged with what it cost.
- A record the team can check. Decisions land in the riif record, and standup runs on HOLDS the team pools together.
- Voice-dump intake. Speak a dump, it sorts on your confirm, briefs you back, runs, and records.
Install
The command is reflex. Reflex Ops runs on Mac, Linux and Windows. One line detects your machine and installs it.
Mac or Linux, in Terminal:
curl -fsSL https://reflex.riif.com/install | bash
Windows: the line and the steps are under On Windows.
Then, in a new terminal window:
reflex --help # prints REFLEX OPS
reflex login # sign in with riif, once
reflex # opens the terminal
Working with Claude Code? The steps are under With Claude Code.
On Windows
Reflex Ops runs in PowerShell. The Mac and Linux line does not work there, so use these steps.
- Open PowerShell: press the Windows key, type
PowerShell, press Enter. Then run this line:
It putsirm https://reflex.riif.com/install.ps1 | iexreflex.exein the folder.reflex\bininside your user folder and adds that folder to your PATH (the list of places Windows looks for programs). Nothing else is changed. - Check it.
reflex --versionprints the version number. - Sign in once.
reflex loginshows a code and opens account.riif.com in your browser. Approve it there. - Go to your project folder with
cdand typereflex. If you work with Claude Code, runreflex kitin that folder first. - Close and reopen any program that was already open (Claude Code, an editor, another PowerShell window), so it can find
reflex.
It says "bash is not recognized". You ran the Mac and Linux line. Use the PowerShell line in step 1.
It says "reflex is not recognized". That window was open before the install, or it is a new tab in an app that was. Run this line in it, then try again: $env:Path += ";$env:USERPROFILE\.reflex\bin". To fix it for good, close the whole terminal app (and Claude Code, and your editor) and open it again.
The program will not start on an older computer. Run $env:REFLEX_BASELINE = '1', then the line in step 1 again. That installs the build for older processors.
To update. Close Reflex Ops and run the line in step 1 again.
You use Windows Subsystem for Linux. Inside it, use the Mac and Linux line instead.
Windows is supported from version 0.19. If something does not work, write to [email protected] with what you typed and what it answered.
With Claude Code
Claude Code can hand a job to Reflex and check the result. It does this by running the reflex command on your own machine, so set the folder up once with reflex kit.
- Sign in, if you have not:
reflex login. - Go to your project folder (the one you open Claude Code in) and run:
It writes a playbook Claude Code reads by itself (reflex kit.claude/skills/reflex/SKILL.md) and lets Claude Code runreflex taskandreflex designwithout asking each time. Run it once in each project folder. - Close Claude Code and open it again in that folder, so it can find
reflex. - Send this as your first message:
Reflex Ops is installed on this computer. Before anything else: 1. Run `reflex --version`. If the command is not found, use the full path instead: "$HOME/.reflex/bin/reflex" (on Windows add .exe), and use that path for every reflex command in this session. 2. Read the file .claude/skills/reflex/SKILL.md in this folder. It is your playbook for working with Reflex. If it is missing, run `reflex kit` first, then read it. 3. Tell me the version you found and confirm you have read the playbook. Do not start any job yet. - Then give it the work:
For a page or a deck, add: use the Reflex design agent.Use Reflex for this, following the playbook: [what you want made]. Cap: 2 dollars. Write only in the folder out/. Show me the cost line and what you checked when it is done.
The spend cap. Every job Claude Code starts runs through reflex task, which stops the job once its cost passes the cap: 4 dollars unless you say another amount. The cost comes out of your Reflex credit.
Free models. reflex models lists them. A free model may learn from what it is sent, so it only runs in a folder you have marked public, with sample content. Reflex Ops tells you how to mark a folder when it refuses one.
You stay in charge. Claude Code is told to ask you before anything that signs in, pays, deletes, deploys or goes public.
First standup in six steps
- Sign in once:
reflex loginshows a code, you approve it on account.riif.com (new users pick a username there), and Reflex Agent becomes your default model. - Open a folder and type
reflex. The terminal opens on that folder. - Pick an agent:
buildexecutes with full access, planreads and analyses without touching files. - Pool the team's items and run the agenda: standup runs on HOLDS, and the word is UNBLOCK.
- Voice dump: speak, it sorts on your confirm, briefs you back, runs, and records.
- Check the record and the cost ledger: what was decided, and what each call cost.
Keep going at riif.com/team: daily standup and agent coordination live there, with the record beside them.
Knowledge base
Short pages, each one job. The living docs stay where the team works:

Ask Haven
Haven answers setup questions here. Fixed questions only; there is no open voice box on this page.
What do I need before installing?
A Mac, Linux or Windows machine and about a minute. There is nothing else to install.
Is opencode still a command?
Only on a machine that has no opencode of its own. The installer never replaces yours. reflex is the command.
Do free models see my files?
Only in a folder you mark public. A free model may learn from what it is sent, so Reflex Ops refuses to send it a private project. Folders are private unless you say otherwise.
Where does my key live?
In your riif account dashboard, and as a device key file with owner-only permissions. Never paste it into chat.
Something harder than this page?
Bring it to standup at riif.com/team; pooled items become the agenda.
Honest limits
- A free model may learn from what it is sent. Reflex Ops refuses to send it a private folder, and folders are private unless you mark them public.
- It runs on your machine. Two things leave it: what you send to a model, and, when you run the design check, the page and the files it links, which are drawn on our side. An account can run 200 design checks a day.
- The fork is young. Commands and record formats may change.
- Voice dump sorts on your confirm. Check before it runs and records.
- The ledger records what was spent. A spend cap applies to jobs started with
reflex task; a session you run by hand has none. - Support answers here are fixed. Hard cases go to standup at riif.com/team.
Sign in and key
Sign in with riif on your device. The first device gets a $5 starter credit, and credit, usage, and devices live in your account dashboard.
